SMALL GRANTS PROGRAM: A developing network of foundations that directly support the projects and campaign of indigenous communities. LIL provides proposal-writing, funds management and accounting assistance as needed for projects that are funded through this network.
CAPACITY BUILDING: Land is Life strengthens the ability of indigenous leaders to effectively protect their peoples’ rights. We have held capacity building courses around the world. We provide computers and computer training to indigenous organizations. Each year, in cooperation with the Secretariat of the United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues, we hold comprehensive training sessions in New York City in preparation for the Forum.
